Anthony B. Cino
Anthony B. Cino is a Vice President at Albright Stonebridge Group, a global strategy firm. Mr. Cino leverages his expertise in China and Asia Pacific to advise clients on building and executing successful government affairs strategies in support of their broader commercial interests. Mr. Cino has a decade of government affairs experience supporting highly-regulated industries doing business in China and globally at the U.S. Department of Commerce International Trade Administration and the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA).
Prior to joining ASG, Mr. Cino was Associate Vice President at the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA), where he led PhRMA’s government affairs activity in China, New Zealand and South East Asia, including strategic planning, messaging, government outreach, and partnership and alliance development. Mr. Cino also supported PhRMA’s policy coordination on international biotechnology policy issues globally.
Previously, Mr. Cino served four years in the International Trade Administration (ITA) at the U.S. Department of Commerce, where he maximized market access for U.S. firms in China and worked on compliance issues for the U.S. healthcare and financial-service industries. During his term at ITA, Mr. Cino served two short tours at the U.S. Embassy in Beijing.
Mr. Cino completed his M.A. studies in International Affairs at Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs, with a regional focus on East Asia. He earned both his B.A. in International Studies and a separate B.A. in Economic Theory from American University in Washington, DC.
Mr. Cino is proficient in Mandarin Chinese.
