Nigel Thompson
Nigel Thompson is a Senior Director at Albright Stonebridge Group, a global strategy firm. With over thirty years of experience in international pharmaceutical markets, Mr. Thompson brings decades of expertise to biopharmaceutical clients on regulatory issues around the world.
Based in New Jersey, Mr. Thompson is also the President of Parks Pharma Consulting. Mr. Thompson specializes on economic strategy, pricing and reimbursement, government relations, and business development. At Albright Stonebridge Group, he uses his expertise to help clients navigate the regulatory environment of the pharmaceutical industry.
Previously, Mr. Thompson was the Executive Director of Economic and Development Strategy at Merck. There, he was active in designing and implementing strategies to accelerate and protect market access in European and emerging markets.
From 1999 to 2001, Mr. Thompson was the Pharmaceutical Advisor to the World Bank from the International Federation of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers and Associations. In this capacity, Mr. Thompson advised the World Bank on pharmaceutical issues in emerging markets and developed dialogues between pharmaceutical companies and the World Bank.
Mr. Thompson is a British Chartered Accountant and is fluent in French.
