Stephanie J. Benedict

Stephanie J. Benedict is Special Assistant at Albright Stonebridge Group, a global strategy firm. In this capacity, she supports the firm’s China practice by coordinating activities across the Washington, Beijing, and Shanghai offices. She also facilitates client service and special projects for the China team.

Prior to joining Albright Stonebridge Group, Ms. Benedict interned at Gibraltar Associates, where she identified new press and business contacts for public relations campaigns on behalf of clients in the pharmaceutical, government, and food industries. Previously, she was the communications intern at the Truman National Security Project, where she contributed editorial and operational support to the organization’s external communications. Ms. Benedict has also served as a member of the Chi Omega National Extension Team and an ambassador of the Chi Omega Foundation.

Ms. Benedict earned her B.A. with honors in International Affairs from the Elliott School of International Affairs at the George Washington University, with concentrations in International Politics and Conflict & Security. Her senior thesis, “Press Freedom in the European Union and Candidate Countries: A New Regional Reality,” will be published by the European Union Center of California in August 2012.
