Bipul Kiran Singh
Bipul Kiran Singh is a Senior Advisor of Albright Stonebridge Group, a global strategy firm. Based in New Delhi, Mr. Singh provides clients with policy analysis and stakeholder advocacy and helps them manage their long-term and crisis communications strategies. Mr. Singh also serves as a consultant at 9.9 Mediaworx Pvt. Ltd.
Mr. Singh has spent almost 20 years assisting multinational corporations, India-based companies and small and medium enterprises communicate effectively with different constituencies within India as well as handle a variety of crisis situations such as labor unrest, factory closures, and service disruptions. His past clients include FedEx, Virgin Atlantic, Canon, British Gas, Bharti-Airtel, United Spirits, ITC and Videocon Group.
Previously, Mr. Singh was the Chief Executive Officer of Torque Communications, a communications consulting firm he helped to set up in 2004. Prior to that he served as General Manager at the Indian communications agency Rediffusion–DY&R where he led a successful multi-year advocacy campaign of the domestic spirits industry to maintain tariff levels on imported spirits. Earlier, he headed the New Delhi office of Genesis PR (now Genesis Burson-Marsteller). During his tenure, he assisted a campaign for the Indian automobile industry on environmental regulations, which culminated in the development of a clear emissions roadmap for the industry.
Prior to his private sector service, Mr. Singh began his career as an officer for the Indian Information Service of the Government of India, where he was responsible for handling media relations for the Information & Broadcasting Ministry, and then later for the Urban Development Ministry.
Mr. Singh earned his MBA from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) in Bangalore and trained at the Indian Institute of Mass Communications (IIMC) in New Delhi. He speaks English and Hindi and is a recipient of the National Talent Search Scholarship and Science Merit Scholarship of Delhi University.
