George Zhao
George Zhao is a Deputy Director of Albright Stonebridge Group, a global strategy firm. Based in its Beijing office, Mr. Zhao assists clients’ China office executives on business strategies, stakeholder identification and outreach, and coordinates client trips to the region.
He has assisted clients with identifying key partners to promote their in-country public awareness campaigns and aided them in improving their China market entry strategies.
Prior to joining Albright Stonebridge Group, Mr. Zhao worked for over six years in the Chinese media industry, including at CCTV from 1999 to 2003, and at two Internet companies from 2006-2007.
He has also served as a Senior Researcher at the Chung Kong Graduate School of Business, and was a Project Manager for the U.S.-China Education Trust, whose mandate is to promote harmonious U.S.-China relations and organize educational exchange programs between the two countries.
Mr. Zhao earned his M.S. in Media Management from the University of Stirling (U.K.) and a B.A. in Media Management from the Beijing Broadcasting Institute, now known as China Communication University.
