Richard Trutanic
Richard Trutanic is a Senior Director of Albright Stonebridge Group, a global strategy firm. Mr. Trutanic is Chairman and CEO of Somerset & Company, a private investment and asset management firm focused on private equity and alternative investments for institutional and family office clients.
An accomplished senior investment executive, Mr. Trutanic was previously a Partner, Senior Managing Director, and member of the Board of Directors of Groupe Arnault S.A, a private investment holding company owning controlling interests in Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy and Christian Dior, as well as investments in other enterprises in the U.S., Europe and Asia.
Mr. Trutanic was also previously a Managing Director of the Carlyle Group, a leading global private equity investment firm. Mr. Trutanic serves as a member of the board of directors of several private companies. He is a member of the advisory board of several institutional investment funds, and is a Trustee of the New York Life MainStay Funds.
Mr. Trutanic earned his graduate degrees in business and law from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and Stanford Law School.
