Thomas Donohue (Board of Advisors)

Thomas Donohue is a member of the Board of Advisors of Albright Stonebridge Group, a global strategy firm. Mr. Donohue is President and Chief Executive Officer of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the world’s largest business federation, representing 3 million companies and organizations.

Under his leadership, the major themes of the Chamber have been advancing free trade, promoting legal reform and technology, and improving the standing of business.

Prior to his current post, Mr. Donohue served for 13 years as the President and CEO of the American Trucking Association. Previously, he was a group vice president of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce for eight years. Mr. Donohue serves on the Boards of Directors of Union Pacific Corporation and Sunrise Senior Living Corporation.

He is also a member of the President’s Advisory Committee for Trade Policy and Negotiations, which provides overall policy and advice on matters concerning objectives and bargaining positions before entering into a trade agreement and other matters arising in connection with U.S. trade policy.

Mr. Donohue earned his bachelor’s degree from St. John’s University and his M.S. in Business Administration from Adelphi University.
