As businesses and governments seek to simultaneously reduce their environmental impact and achieve economic growth, Mr. King advises clients on investing in clean, efficient technologies and navigating the changing political landscape of energy and climate change.
Wyatt C. King is a Director of Albright Stonebridge Group, a global strategy firm. He assists clients in developing environmental and social governance strategies, establishing public-private partnerships, gaining access to new markets, and managing political and regulatory disputes.
Mr. King has a particular focus on clean technologies, environmental sustainability, and corporate social governance. He has a strong background in energy and environmental policy issues and corporate sustainability.
Prior to joining ASG, Mr. King spent four years as an energy and environmental policy advisor to members of the United States Congress, including Representative Gabrielle Giffords and Senator Maria Cantwell, Chair of the Senate Energy Subcommittee. He also worked as Professional Staff for the House Committee on Science and Technology, where he drafted several renewable energy research and development provisions for the Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007. Prior to coming to Washington, D.C., Mr. King worked on electoral and issue campaigns in his native Washington State.
Mr. King also has significant private sector experience. As an International Project Manager for Amazon.com he managed the launch of new customer service operations in Germany and new product lines in France. He later worked with sustainability thought-leader L. Hunter Lovins to launch the Natural Capitalism Group, a strategic consulting firm dedicated to helping corporate clients adopt business strategies that both reduce their environmental impacts and improve their bottom lines.
Mr. King earned his B.A. from Williams College and an M.A. in Law and Diplomacy, with a focus on International Environment and Resource Policy, from the Fletcher School of International Affairs at Tufts University. He speaks German and French.
