Yevgeny Zvedre

Yevgeny Zvedre is a Senior Advisor of Albright Stonebridge Group, a global strategy firm. Based in Moscow, he advises clients on Russia-related issues. Previously, Mr. Zvedre served as Science and Technology Attaché at the Russian Embassy in the United States from 2004-2009.

During his 35-year long career in the Foreign Service he served in a number of positions in Soviet and Russian embassies abroad, as well as in the Ministry of Affairs in Moscow.

Prior to coming to Washington, Mr. Zvedre was assigned to the North America Department of the Ministry as Head of the Political-Military Office, and in the 1980s and 1990s he was involved in the arms control negotiations on START 1 and ABM Treaty and was assigned to the Russian Missions in Geneva and Vienna.

Mr. Zvedre has published articles on space, missile non-proliferation and export controls issues. In the 1970s, Mr. Zvedre worked on regional affairs, with a focus on South East Asia.

Mr. Zvedre earned his B.A. from Moscow State Institute of International Relations MFA and is a graduate of the MFA Diplomatic Academy.
