Carlo Darouni is an Associate at ASG, where he supports the firm’s Middle East and North Africa practice by providing client research and leading project coordination.
Prior to joining ASG, Mr. Darouni worked as a research intern at The Cohen Group, where he developed industry forecasts and market entry strategies for emerging markets. Previously, he was an intern at the Woodrow Wilson Center for International Scholars, where he conducted research and analysis on political, social, and economic developments in the Middle East. Mr. Darouni also worked as an intern in the UAE for Reckitt Benckiser, a multinational consumer goods company, where he created an electronic commerce platform and digital library for over 400 products.
Mr. Darouni received a B.A. in International Relations from The George Washington University’s Elliott School of International Affairs with concentrations in Middle East Studies and Security Policy. He also studied at King’s College London in the Department of War Studies.
Mr. Darouni is fluent in Arabic, English, and French. He is based in Washington, DC.
