Jonathan Eigege

Jonathan Eigege is an Associate Partner in ASG’s Africa practice, where he supports clients through research and project coordination.

Prior to joining ASG full-time, Mr. Eigege was a consultant for the firm. In this role, he analyzed political and economic developments across sub-Saharan Africa for clients. Previously, he was a Graduate Research Assistant with the Africa Studies Department at the School of Advanced International Studies at Johns Hopkins University, where he researched Nigeria’s political economy and tracked emerging trends in industrial and economic development policy across Africa. Mr. Eigege also worked as a Research Intern for the Africa Program at the Center for Strategic and International Studies.

Mr. Eigege received an M.A. in African Studies and International Economics from the School of Advanced International Studies at Johns Hopkins University and a B.A. in International Relations and Affairs, with a minor in Business from Calvin College, where he served as student body president. Mr. Eigege grew up in Jos, Nigeria, and speaks French and Hausa.

He is based in Washington, D.C.
