Xiang Yang

Xiang Yang is a Research Assistant at Albright Stonebridge Group, a global strategy firm. Based in Shanghai, Ms. Xiang provides research support to the China team on a variety of topics.

Prior to joining Albright Stonebridge Group, Ms. Xiang was a Marketing intern at CNBC Asia, where she leveraged her English skills to translate selected news reports, update the CNBC website, and provide administrative support to the team. Previously, Ms. Xiang was a News Assistant at Reuters Financial TV, where she conducted research for producers and reports, executed preliminary interviews, and assisted in filming and editing.

In her career, Ms. Xiang has conducted news monitoring and supported media campaigns for clients at Weber Shandwick. She has also contributed research and reporting to the Bund Pictorial Magazine, liaised with foreign journalists at the Shanghai 2010 World Expo Press Center, and assisted in the production of two Chinese language radio programs at Shanghai East Radio.

Ms. Yang graduated from the School of Journalism at Fudan University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Art in Communication. She spent a summer semester abroad studying at Georgetown University in Washington, DC.
