Kamphuisen and Vasconcelos expand on-the-ground capabilities

October 21, 2019 (Washington, DC) – Albright Stonebridge Group (ASG), the premier global strategy and commercial diplomacy firm, announced two senior additions today. Jan Kamphuisen has joined the firm as Head of its United Arab Emirates (UAE) office, and Brazil-based Beto Vasconcelos has joined as Advisor in the Americas practice.

“Jan and Beto exemplify one of ASG’s distinctive strengths, which is our deep bench of talent on-the-ground in the world’s most dynamic markets,” said Anthony Harrington, Chair of the ASG Managing Board. “We’re delighted to offer our clients their insights as part of the ASG global team and believe these two experts will be highly valuable in serving clients interested in both in-bound and out-bound opportunities across the Middle East and Brazil.”

Based in Dubai, Mr. Kamphuisen helps ASG clients analyze and pursue business opportunities across the region and supports MENA-based organizations with their endeavors around the globe. Prior to joining ASG, Mr. Kamphuisen worked at a global risk consultancy, where he led the political risk consulting practice for the Middle East and North Africa region and later managed teams for Europe, Africa, and Myanmar. He brings extensive experience helping organizations understand and resolve a broad range of issues and capitalize on opportunities from Morocco to Pakistan.

ASG’s Middle East and North Africa practice includes on-the-ground senior presence in Amman, Cairo, Casablanca, Dubai, Riyadh, and Tel Aviv.

A lawyer by training, he brings over two decades of experience in the private and public sectors, including roles with Brazil’s Office of the Presidency and leading Brazilian law firms.

ASG’s Americas practice has extensive experience and high-level relationships across the region, with on-the-ground presence in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, and Mexico.
