Expanding ASG’s on-the-ground expertise in Asia

NOVEMBER 5, 2018 (Washington, DC) – Albright Stonebridge Group (ASG) announced today that Ambassador Ted Osius has joined the firm as a Senior Advisor. Based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, Ambassador Osius will draw on his regional expertise to advise ASG clients on investment, market-entry, and government relations in Vietnam and across Asia.

From 2014 through 2017, Ambassador Osius served as U.S. Ambassador to Vietnam, where he helped deepen U.S.-Vietnam security ties, facilitated significant commercial deals between the two countries, and concluded agreements on trade, law enforcement, and environmental protection.

Previously, Ambassador Osius held several distinguished U.S. government posts, including Deputy Chief of Mission in Indonesia; Political Minister-Counselor in India; Deputy Director of the Office of Korean Affairs at the State Department; regional environment officer for Southeast Asia and the Pacific in Thailand; and White House senior advisor on Asia and trade in the Office of the Vice President.
