Expands capabilities of firm’s fast-growing Health practice;

Extends firm’s on-the-ground expertise in the Middle East 

November 2, 2020 (Washington, D.C.) – Albright Stonebridge Group (ASG), the premier global strategy and commercial diplomacy firm, announced today that Gary Gottlieb, MD, and Yahya Majali, PhD, have joined the firm as Senior Advisors, bringing additional expertise to the firm’s Health practice and on the ground in Amman, Jordan.

An accomplished leader at the intersection of health care, business, and academia, Dr. Gottlieb helmed one of the largest biomedical research and training enterprise in the United States as CEO of Partners HealthCare (now MassGeneral Brigham). He also served as CEO of Partners in Health, leading the NGO’s work to provide health care for the poor worldwide. Earlier in his career Dr. Gottlieb led several individual hospitals, and developed a nationally recognized research, training, and clinical program at the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center. He is a professor of psychiatry at Harvard Medical School.

A person wearing a suit and tieDescription automatically generatedDr. Yahya Majali, based in Amman, Jordan, draws on an unparalleled understanding of Jordanian politics and deep knowledge of the region’s public and private sector networks to serve clients of the firm’s Middle East and North Africa practice. An engineer by training, Dr. Majali most recently worked with a global engineering and architecture consulting firm to advise municipal and energy companies across the Middle East. Previously, he served as Director of the Office of the Crown Prince at the Royal Hashemite Court. Dr. Majali also served as Assistant Chief of Royal Protocol at the Royal Hashemite Court, organizing King Abdullah’s initiatives, events, and programs. Earlier in his career, Dr. Majali was president of a construction management firm, and an engineering manager at a U.S.-based construction company operating in Jordan.
