Press Release: ASG Welcomes Raymond Zoukpo as Senior Advisor

May 12, 2020 (Washington D.C.) - Albright Stonebridge Group (ASG), the premier global strategy and commercial diplomacy firm, announced today that Abidjan-based Raymond Zoukpo has joined as a Senior Advisor with the firm’s Africa practice.

Dr. Zoukpo works with ASG clients on trade and investment priorities in West Africa, drawing on decades of experience as a development finance executive and deep networks across the public, private, and non-profit sectors. Dr. Zoukpo’s expertise is particularly valuable now, as African economies begin to seek to attract foreign investment to rebuild after the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Raymond’s deep familiarity with the business and development landscape in West Africa is an enormous asset to our clients with interests in the region,” said Ambassador Linda Thomas-Greenfield, head of ASG’s Africa practice. “He is an in-demand resource for any organization developing a growth or investment strategy in Côte d’Ivoire and francophone West Africa.”

An economist by training, Dr. Zoukpo held a wide array of senior positions at the African Development Bank, including Director of Risk Management, Director of Institutional Reforms, Head of Debt Management, and other advisory roles in the office of the bank president. In addition to providing expertise in Africa, Dr. Zoukpo advises ASG clients with interest in Japan-Africa business opportunities. He received his Ph.D and M.A. at the University of Tsukuba in Japan.
