Press Release: Dentons Global Advisors-ASG Welcomes Christina Hawk; Return of Mark Feierstein

May 25, 2022 (Washington, D.C.) – Dentons Global Advisors-Albright Stonebridge Group (ASG), leaders in global strategic advisory, announce the addition of a new senior colleague and the return of another. Christina Hawk has joined as Vice President with the Health practice and Mark Feierstein returns to the firm as Senior Advisor with the Americas practice.

Christina Hawk has deep experience in international health care. She spent more than 12 years at Johns Hopkins Medicine International, overseeing work on programs to improve health care delivery, clinical quality, and medical education in the Americas and around the world. Among others, Ms. Hawk managed a large-scale project in Trinidad and Tobago, implementing cardiovascular and diabetes programs that engaged both public- and private-sector stakeholders across the country. Most recently, Ms. Hawk was Associate Executive Director at Sunrise Senior Living, where she helped lead and manage operations for assisted living, memory care, and independent living communities.

“Christina’s extensive operations leadership experience in international health systems, medical education, and research systems development will be a great asset as we continue to grow our global health capabilities,” said Mehul Mehta, the firm’s Chief Medical Officer. “It is a privilege to welcome her to the team.”

Mark Feierstein returns to the firm after supporting the Biden administration transition as Acting Deputy Administrator of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). He was previously an ASG Senior Advisor from 2017 to 2021. During the Obama administration, Mr. Feierstein was Special Assistant to the President and Senior Director for Western Hemisphere Affairs on the National Security Council. In that role, he coordinated U.S. policy in the Americas, helped orchestrate the President's historic trips to Cuba and Argentina, oversaw an increase in U.S. assistance to Central America, developed the Peace Colombia initiative, and led other efforts to deepen U.S. relationships across the Western Hemisphere. Before joining the White House, he served as Assistant Administrator for Latin America and the Caribbean at USAID.

“We are delighted to welcome Mark back to the firm,” said Ambassador Anthony Harrington, Managing Board Chair and leader of the Americas practice. “In both the public and private sectors, Mark has drawn on his unique experience and relationships in vital efforts to deepen ties across the Western Hemisphere and advance development.”
