Firm expands capabilities for clients in East Asia and the Pacific

August 24, 2022 (Washington, D.C.) – Dentons Global Advisors-Albright Stonebridge Group (ASG), leaders in global strategic advisory, announce today that Tami Overby and Ho Heng Chuan have joined the firm as Senior Advisors in the East Asia & Pacific practice.

Tami Overby brings three decades of experience working on trade and investment issues across Asia, and particularly in Korea. As Senior Vice President for Asia and President of the U.S. Korea Business Council at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, she represented U.S. businesses during negotiation of the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) agreement, directed the Chamber’s work with the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC), and helped companies navigate market access and investment issues throughout the region. Earlier in her career, Ms. Overby spent 14 years as President of the American Chamber of Commerce in Korea, where she helped grow the bilateral trade relationship and supported the completion and ratification of the U.S.-Korea Free Trade Agreement.

Ho Heng Chuan comes to the firm after a distinguished career at the highest levels of banking and finance in Malaysia. He most recently served as Vice Chairman at Citigroup Malaysia, where he managed the bank’s most important clients, including sovereign wealth funds, and oversaw significant client transactions. Earlier, as Managing Director, he led the global banking business and directed client relationships with multinational companies, financial institutions, local corporations, and government-linked companies. At the beginning of his 20-year tenure with Citigroup Malaysia, Mr. Ho was Executive Director and Head of Corporate Finance. Earlier, he held senior roles at Macquarie Bank, AmMerchant Bank, and KPMG.
