Carmela Jessica Corado

Carmela Jessica Corado is an Atlas Corps Fellow at ASG, drawing on more than a decade of experience in the nonprofit sector to help clients of the firm’s East Asia & Pacific practice.

Previously, Ms. Corado managed development projects in the Philippines funded by Oxfam and the U.S. Department of Labor. For the past five years, she has worked in the Philippines’ sugarcane sector on programs to address child protection and promote sustainable agriculture, enterprise development, and microfinance. In 2017, Ms. Corado co-founded ENABLRS, Inc. (Engaging and Empowering Nation-builders in Learning, Research, and Social Entrepreneurship), a startup development consulting firm focused on improving the effectiveness of nonprofits in the Philippines.

Ms. Corado was a Fujitsu Global Leaders for Innovation and Knowledge Fellow, and she is an alumna of the State Department’s Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative.

Ms. Corado earned her B.A. in History from the University of the Philippines. She speaks Filipino and English.

She is based in Washington, DC.
