Christopher Roberts is a Director with ASG, where he helps manage operational initiatives for the firm regarding technology, cybersecurity, and the global ASG network of partners. In addition, Mr. Roberts advises clients in the technology, media and financial sectors on international political issues, government relations and stakeholder management.
Prior to joining Albright Stonebridge, Mr. Roberts supported fundraising and philanthropy initiatives for the National Democratic Institute (NDI). During this time he worked closely with foundations, corporations, and private individuals to support NDI’s global democracy initiatives. In addition, he assisted with special programs for the Institute, and helped organized the 2012 International Leaders Forum at the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Previously, Mr. Roberts was on the finance and economics team for Senator Dianne Feinstein and was an intern at the Oakland, CA office of Congresswoman Barbara Lee.
Mr. Roberts holds a B.A. from Dickinson College where he graduated with honors in Political Science for his thesis entitled China, Reform, and Economic Development in Sub-Saharan Africa. He was a 2013 Global Leaders Fellow for US-Brazil Connect in Joinville, Brazil, and studied International Political Economy at the University of Cape Town in South Africa in 2009.
He is based in Washington, D.C.
