Davide Cichero

Davide Cichero is an Associate Partner in ASG’s Middle East and North Africa practice, where he helps organizations develop policy solutions, and also advises clients on political and policy developments in the MENA region, as well as on market entry and business expansion.
Prior to joining ASG, Mr. Cichero worked for high-profile government entities across Europe and the Middle East, leading the design and delivery of public policy, international affairs, and capacity building projects.
Most recently, he was an advisor to senior decision-makers at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, on socio-economic reforms, foreign direct investment attraction, and engagement with target countries and organizations.
Previously, he was an advisor at the G20 Saudi Secretariat, where he provided policy advice and capacity building ahead of Saudi Arabia’s Presidency of the G20 in 2020, focusing on international trade and investment.
Prior to his engagements in the MENA region, Mr. Cichero was an advisor at the Italian Prime Minister’s Office, working on the policy design and delivery of Italy’s G7 Presidency in 2017. Earlier in his career, he held traineeships with the OECD Secretary-General’s Office and the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Economic and Financial Affairs.
Mr. Cichero holds a Master’s in International Economics from The Graduate Institute in Geneva and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Bocconi University in Milan. He also received training from SciencesPo in Paris and the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy in Singapore.
Mr. Cichero speaks Italian, English and French fluently, and has an introductory level of Arabic. He is based between Dubai, UAE and Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
