Laura Muñoz is an Associate with ASG’s Americas practice, where she supports clients through research and project coordination.
Prior to joining ASG, Ms. Muñoz was the Stephen M. Rivers Fellow at the Center for Democracy in the Americas. There, she supported the organization’s Cuba and Central American Migration programs, working on policy, advocacy, and communications projects. Previously, she was a Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (CHCI) intern in the U.S. House of Representatives, and an intern with the Education Team at Bloomberg Philanthropies.
Ms. Muñoz is a Cuban American immigrant and first-generation college graduate. She graduated magna cum laude from Brown University with a B.A. in History and Latin American and Caribbean Studies. She also studied in Havana, Cuba at the University of Havana and Casa de las Américas. Ms. Muñoz is a native Spanish speaker and is conversational in French.
She is based in Washington, D.C.
