Patrick Lozada is a Director in ASG’s China practice, where he advises clients on policy and business trends in the China market, including on ICT and automotive issues.
Prior to joining ASG, Mr. Lozada worked in the Shanghai office of the U.S.-China Business Council, where he managed the organization’s work on e-commerce and automotive sectors. Previously, he managed China research for Incandescent, a management consulting firm in Beijing, and worked as a consultant for Taurus Education, a Chinese higher education company in Shanghai. Earlier in his career, Mr. Lozada worked as a Communications Assistant at the Friends Committee on National Legislation, a DC-based advocacy organization.
He writes frequently about autonomous vehicles for Axios.
Mr. Lozada holds an M.A. from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, a B.A. from Haverford College, and a certificate in Chinese studies from the Hopkins Nanjing Center at Nanjing University. He speaks Mandarin Chinese.
He is based in Washington, DC.
