Rajeev Garside

Rajeev Garside is a Partner at Dentons Global Advisors (DGA) where he leads the firm’s global activities focused on transaction and investment advisory. Prior to his current role, Mr. Garside managed firm operations and was Chief Financial Officer where he led finance function activities, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis, in support of the firm’s mission and growth.
Mr. Garside has significant experience in mergers and acquisitions, strategy, business development, and operations in the United States and around the world. Prior to ASG, Mr. Garside founded ACEI, a private equity firm focused on global energy infrastructure, mostly in renewables and other energy transition opportunities. While at ACEI, he was a member of the leadership team and originated, executed, and exited several investments. He was also a member of the Board of Directors of several portfolio companies.
Prior to ACEI, Mr. Garside was Managing Director at the AES Corporation, a Fortune 200 global infrastructure investor and operator, where he executed a financial and operational repositioning of the company and analyzed, negotiated, and led M&A and new business development.
Prior to AES, Mr. Garside was a Senior Investment Professional at Perseus Capital, LLC, a private equity firm focused on leveraged buyouts and growth investments in the consumer products, biopharmaceutical, and energy/ environmental industries. Earlier in his career, he was a strategy consultant at McKinsey & Co. and an investment banker at Credit Suisse First Boston.
Mr. Garside holds an MBA, with a concentration in Finance, from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a B.A., with honors, from the University of Pennsylvania. He serves as Head of the Finance Committee and Treasurer of the Ellington Fund of the Duke Ellington School of the Arts in Washington D.C.
