Santiago Herdoiza

Santiago J. Herdoiza is a Senior Associate in ASG’s South Asia practice, where he advises clients on trade, political risk, and business development opportunities in India and South Asia. In this capacity, Mr. Herdoiza also supports clients’ business interests and operations in Latin America.

Prior to joining ASG, Mr. Herdoiza was an Associate Director at Hills & Company, where he led research and analysis on trade and investment priorities for Fortune 500 companies across multiple industries and business portfolios. He facilitated client activities in emerging markets, especially Latin America and India. Mr. Herdoiza also managed media relations for the firm as well as for Ambassadors Carla Hills and Thomas Pickering.

Mr. Herdoiza was previously at the Atlantic Council’s Adrienne Arsht Latin America Center, working on projects related to Venezuela, Mexico, and Argentina. He also served in the Organization of American States’ Executive Office of the Secretariat for Strengthening Democracy, where he produced research on economic, political, and social factors that hamper democracy in Latin America.

Mr. Herdoiza earned a B.A. in Political Science and History from Clark University. He speaks and writes Spanish with native fluency.
