About Us

Valentin Kanev is Accounting Director at ASG, where he is responsible for the firm’s operational accounting and supports the finance function.

Prior to joining ASG, Mr. Kanev was an Associate Business Manager in HCL Technologies’ Digital and Analytics practice, focused on solution design and delivery for finance- and accounting-related engagements.

Previously, he served as Director of Finance and Accounting at Enclude Ltd., where he led the finance department’s efforts to establish robust accounting policies and procedures and deliver timely and reliable financial reporting. During this time, he also served as an Audit Committee Member for TBC Kredit in Azerbaijan. He also previously worked as the Head of Finance and Assistant Controller at ShoreBank International Ltd.

Mr. Kanev holds an MBA from the University of Economics Varna in Bulgaria, as well as an M.S. in Accounting from Loyola University Chicago. He is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Internal Auditor. Mr. Kanev is fluent in Bulgarian and proficient in Russian and Spanish.
