December 11, 2023 (Washington, D.C.) – Dentons Global Advisors-Albright Stonebridge Group (ASG), a leader in global strategic advisory, announces that Ambassador Michael Žantovský and Sergiy Tsivkach have joined as Senior Advisors in the firm’s Europe & Eurasia practice.  

Ambassador Michael Žantovský comes to the firm following a distinguished career as a diplomat, politician, and author. Recently, Ambassador Žantovský served as the Executive Director of the Václav Havel Library, the President of the Aspen Institute Prague, as a member of the Forum 2000 Foundation Program Council, and an external advisor on foreign policy to the President of the Czech Republic. During his government service, Ambassador Žantovský served as Ambassador of the Czech Republic to the United States, Israel, and the United Kingdom (UK), as well as spokesman for President Václav Havel and political director in the Office of the President. As an elected official, he served as chairman of the Civic Democratic Alliance and as a Senator, and Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Affairs, Defense and Security in the Parliament. He is based in Prague.

Sergiy Tsivkach was most recently the CEO of UkraineInvest, the Government of Ukraine’s investment promotion agency. He brings expertise on doing business in Ukraine, and Ukraine’s economic recovery and reconstruction. Previously, Mr. Tsivkach served as advisor to Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal on investment policy, and economic development. He also managed the secretariats of the two working groups of the Government of Ukraine under the Prime Minister of Ukraine, and the Minister on Reintegration of the Temporary Occupied Territories of Ukraine, on investments and business protection. He has also served as Advisor on International Affairs to the first President of Ukraine, Leonid Kravchuk, and other high-level officials and legislators in Ukraine, and the UK. An expert on investments and commercial law, Mr. Tsivkach has also worked in the private sector in various executive roles in Ukraine, and the UK. He is based in Kyiv.
