Holly Bekesha is an Analyst at ASG, supporting the Business Development, Communications, and Marketing practice. Previously, Ms. Bekesha worked in various capacities in the private sector. She conducted economic and political risk analysis while interning with an investment firm focused on emerging markets. Ms. Bekesha also researched the global energy industry at a think tank in Istanbul. In this role, she prepared white papers and conducted briefings for institute staff and experts.
Prior to pursuing her Master’s degree, Ms. Bekesha served as Special Assistant to the President at Gryphon Partners, an international strategic advisory firm focused on the broader Middle East. She also worked with a range of international and corporate clients as a paralegal at Berry, Appleman, and Leiden, an international law firm specializing in immigration.
Ms. Bekesha earned an M.A. with honors in Middle East Studies and Emerging Markets from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies. She received a B.A. in Political Science and International Studies from Northwestern University and completed coursework at the American University in Cairo. She is proficient in Arabic.
