Ahmed Khalil is a Senior Advisor at ASG, where he advises clients as they develop and execute strategies for geographical expansion, market entry, and partnerships in the Middle East and Africa.
Mr. Khalil draws on expertise and networks developed over decades of working in consumer electronics, IT, telecom, fintech, and real estate. Before joining ASG, he advised and supported multinational technology and electronics companies in their expansion across emerging markets in the Middle East and Africa. He held senior management positions at leading companies including Lenovo, Toshiba, and Network International, helping each successfully grow its business in challenging emerging markets and navigate complicated regulatory landscapes. He managed distribution channels and resellers; set up effective long-term distribution, retail, and telecom carrier partnerships; and managed product, financial, and logistical requirements. With more than 25 years of experience, Mr. Khalil understands and has ample experience managing the risks associated with developing new business in emerging markets.
Mr. Khalil holds a B.S. in Computer Science from The American University in Cairo. He is a native Arabic speaker and fluent in English.
